Engaging, Bringing People Together and Building for the Future

Since my childhood in Montreux, sport, community organisations and civic engagement have played an important role in my life.

From practising gymnastics to organising international sporting events, as well as taking on leadership responsibilities in community organisations and serving on the Montreux Communal Council, these experiences have enabled me to contribute to collective initiatives and connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Beyond the positions I have held, one conviction has consistently guided my commitments: projects achieve their full potential when they bring people together, mobilise complementary expertise and turn a shared ambition into tangible achievements.

Gymnastics: A Lifelong Passion

Gymnastics: A Lifelong Passion

Since my childhood in Montreux, gymnastics has held a special place in my life. Practising the sport with a local gymnastics club taught me the value of hard work, discipline, teamwork and pushing beyond my own limits from an early age.

From training sessions to competitions, particularly with FSG Montreux, gymnastics helped me discover the power of teamwork and the importance of individual commitment in achieving a shared goal.

Over the years, this passion naturally led me to become involved beyond the sport itself, contributing to community organisations and the organisation of sporting events. It remains one of the defining threads running through my personal and professional journey.

Creating and Delivering Major Sporting Events

Over the years, my passion for sport has led me to contribute to the conception, development and organisation of national and international sporting events.

Among the most significant achievements are the 2016 European Taekwondo Championships held in Montreux, as well as Montreux Acrobaties, an event I helped create and develop, bringing together a wide range of sporting disciplines through an original concept.

These experiences have enabled me to bring organising committees together, mobilise several hundred volunteers, build strategic partnerships and collaborate with public authorities, sports federations and business stakeholders.

Beyond the success of the events themselves, what motivates me most is the ability to transform an idea into an ambitious collective project and ultimately bring it to life.

A Commitment to Montreux

A Commitment to Montreux

Born in Montreux and deeply attached to my home region, I have always viewed involvement in local public life as a meaningful way to contribute to the development of the community.

First elected to the Montreux Communal Council in 2011, and subsequently re-elected in 2016 and 2021, I served from 2011 to 2022, including as a parliamentary group leader. This experience deepened my understanding of public institutions, local and regional challenges, and the functioning of local government.

In 2026, I founded the civic movement Tellement Montreux, with the ambition of bringing together people from different backgrounds and perspectives around a constructive vision for the future of our municipality.

These commitments reflect a conviction that also guides my professional life: listening, bringing people together and taking action are the foundations of any sustainable collective endeavour.
